Sports 4 All, (SFA) a Rochdale-based multi faith group, together with Rochdale Police, held their third Alliance football match, to continue the progress of community cohesion, on Sunday May 31st 2009. The match was sponsored by Deeplish Community Centre and attended by the Mayor and Mayoress of Rochdale, Cabinet Community Cohesion Portfolio holder, Cllr Mohammad Sharif and the local MP Paul Rowen. Cardinal Langley Basketball Match

Cardinal Langley Basketball Club (CLBC) played a Sports 4 All (SFA) select X1 in a friendly fixture on Sunday 9th August 2009 at Springhill Sports Centre. The aim was to promote community cohesion through the sport of Basketball to those living within the Black Minority Ethnic (BME) communities. Sport For All Awards Evening 2009

Rochdale’s Sports For All (SFA) held their annual awards presentation for 2008 at Touchstones arts and heritage centre. The evening was sponsored by Kashmir Youth Project and Link4Life. The guest list was an ‘A list’ of Rochdale representatives… both MPs, Paul Rowen and Jim Dobbin, were joined by the Commander of GM Rochdale Police, Peter Mason, and by Mr Peter Fahy, The Chief Constable of Greater Manchester Police. Soccer Aid Raise Funds For Palestine

Rochdale Sports For All (SFA) recently held a successful Charity five-a-side football tournament raising £500 to help Palestinian refugees. A record 16 teams from Greater Manchester and Yorkshire entered the tournament on Sunday 28th December 2008 at Soccer Village in Milnrow.
