The tenth annual Sports For All awards evening took place on Saturday 13 February 2010 at Touchstones, to celebrate the sporting achievements of people involved with the scheme throughout the borough. This year’s awards began with a special tribute to Mr Ismail Fulat of the Kashmiri Youth Project who worked tirelessly with Sports For All for many years before his death in December 2009. His son Hussain was presented with a plaque in memory of his father from Sports For All. Sports For All (a local community group in Rochdale) is bringing international cricket to Rochdale. Sport For All (SFA) with the Kenya Cricket Association and Friends for Kenya will host a reception for the Kenyan Cricket team on Saturday 19th July 2008. The following day as part of their preparation for the 20/20 international qualifiers in August, the Kenyan Cricket team will play against a ‘SFA Select XI’ at Rochdale Cricket Club.
